'''Jab:''' A hook of his right hand, followed by a left jab, finishes by front kicking the opponent. Just a typical jab, nothing special. Oh yeah, except, the second and third hits don’t combo into eachother.
'''Jab:''' A palm strike of the left hand, followed by a roundhouse kick of the left leg, both boasting poor damage. He finishes by hitting the opponent with his cross, which does better damage. Additionally, there is a hitbox right on the cross which boasts slightly more damage.

'''Forward Tilt:''' Neil juts out the cross forwards. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback. This boasts short startlag in return for somewhat high endlag.
'''Forward Tilt:''' Swings his rosary forwards. It's angleable upwards or downwards. There is a sweetspot on the cross that does more damage and knockback. It has good startup and meh endlag, making it somewhat spammable.

'''Dash Attack:''' Neil lunges out and brings his cross over his head. He then stabs the ground, or the opponent if he’s lucky. This travels a lot of space, and his cross is a sweetspot that kills consistently at high percents, as his arm is a sourspot.
'''Dash Attack:''' Neil stops running and juts his hand with his cross out a little, sliding forwards a bit. His entire arm is a hitbox that gets weaker overtime, except the cross. The cross is a sweetspot, boasting the most damage and knockback. Neil has long endlag after this.

'''Up Tilt:''' Raises his cross up like a relic in one hand high above his head. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback.
'''Up Tilt:''' Neil raises his cross up like a relic in one hand high above his head. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback.

'''Down Tilt:''' A sweeping kick across the floor. It's high endlag and odd knockback angle make it poor for starting combos.
'''Down Tilt:''' A sweeping kick across the floor, boasting somewhat low damage. It has meh knockback and frame data, and has a relatively low chance to trip.

'''Neutral Air:''' Neil performs a sex kick, which lingers. It gets weaker over time even if it already is somewhat weak, but it is good for getting a move out fast and snuffing out projectiles.
'''Neutral Air:''' Spins his rosary all around himself once. It's somewhat weak and boasts meh knockback and scaling, but it is good for getting a move out fast and snuffing out projectiles.

'''Forward Air:''' A quick, outward jut of his cross. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback.
'''Forward Air:''' A quick, outward jut of his cross, boasting good startup but poor endlag. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback.

'''Back Air:''' Swings his foot around and kicks behind him. Good knockback, and somewhat decent scaling, making it a good finisher offstage at higher percents.
'''Back Air:''' A donkey kick behind himself. It boasts a good bit of startup, but in return it does good knockback, being able to kill offstage at higher percents. It also boast decent range as Neil sticks his leg out, but it gets weaker over time.

'''Up Air:''' Swipes his cross up from one side to the other above him. If the opponent hits his arm, it does less damage, but if his cross hits the opponent, it does substantially more damage and slightly more knockback.
'''Up Air:''' A spinning swipe with his cross in his hand from right to left. It had decent base knockback and decent scaling, mainly on the cross. The arm part is poor. This move suffers from endlag, and the late hit launches sideways somewhat.

'''Down Air:''' A downward thrust with the cross. It boasts a strong spike if Neil hits the initial few frames of the cross being out, but it does have a very weak spike during the other frames of the cross being out. If the opponent hits his arm during this move, it won’t spike.
'''Down Air:''' Stomps twice downwards. Neil has a weak spike on the second stomp if he is to hit the opponent with his foot. This move slightly more startup than his other tilts, and also does a little more damage.

'''Side Strong:''' Neil starts reading something from his Bible. On the release of the attack, Neil points diagonally downwards and a beam of holy light flashes onto the ground, doing immense damage. Because of how good its damage is, the light flashes for a very short amount of time.

Because of how good its damage is, the light flashes for a very short amount of time. Additionally, Neil faces large endlag.

'''Grab:''' Reaches out with non-dominant hand to grab opponent. Poor range.
'''Grab:''' Neil reaches out with non-dominant hand to grab opponent. This grab has poor range, and frame data that's nothing to write home about.

'''Pummel:''' Punches opponent with dominant hand, moderate damage and speed.
'''Pummel:''' Punches opponent with dominant hand, moderate damage and speed.

'''Forward Throw:''' Matthew 21:12-13: Picks up opponent and places opponent on a table that pops up from holy light. He then proceeds to flip over the table. Best throw option as it does the most damage and knockback scaling, making it good for kills at high percents..
'''Forward Throw:''' Neil shoves the opponent forwards. It has poor knockback, but hits opponents into the ground instead of into the air.

'''Back Throw:''' Spins opponent around and tosses them. It isn’t a kill throw, but more of a repositioning tool. Poor knockback scaling.
'''Back Throw:''' Neil spins and tosses the opponent. This throw boasts low knockback, but it scales decently, but it isn't that good of a kill throw.

'''Up Throw:''' Neil prays, a holy light comes from above, takes the opponent upwards. Very good for repositioning, as it sends opponents straight up, with modest knockback scaling.
'''Up Throw:''' Neil prays, a holy light comes from above, takes the opponent upwards. Decent kill throw, but it doesn't do all that much damage.

'''Down Throw:''' Neil takes the opponent by the head and slams them downwards. It does decent damage, but has poor knockback, which could lead to tech chases.
'''Down Throw:''' A cross appears behind the opponent, and Neil nails them into it. This throw boasts high damage, but little knockback scaling.

== Special Attacks ==
== Special Attacks ==

'''Neutral Special:''' Holy Balls!: Neil takes out his cross and starts reading from his Bible. The cross shines brighter and brighter with holy light, signaling that the attack will do more damage. When the attack is released, Neil will close the Bible and expel the energy from the cross, sending a ball-like projectile with properties similar to Mewtwo’s Neutral Special, with its damage and size scaling with charge. It can be angled slightly up or slightly down. It does multihit damage to the opponent and sends them flying, making it a good finisher at mid to even high percents.
'''Neutral Special:''' Holy Balls!: Neil starts reading from his Bible, the other hand holds an orb of holy light. The charge that makes it more powerful lasts 4 seconds, but he can hold the charge indefinitely, until he jumps or rolls, which causes him to pocket it. The orb being fully charged is signified by Neil's hands glowing with holy light. When the orb is sent out, it will move faster or slower depending on if the charge was short or long, as well as do more damage. On contact, it hits up to five times before doing a finisher, which boasts high knockback, being able to kill at high and sometimes middling percents. It does have a small bit of startup and endlag.

'''Side Special:''' Grave Mistake: Slams his cross in the ground, causing a grave and dirt to pop out. From the dirt comes a skeleton with startlag for it to dig itself from the ground. Once the skeleton is fully out, it will walk forwards. Anyone who runs into the skeleton will be damaged, but it does somewhat poor knockback.
'''Side Special:''' Neil shoves his palm out forwards quickly, causing a ghost hand to fly out forwards. Coming into contact with this hand will cause it to grab you, then push you forwards whilst dealing chip damage. It can be mashed out of pretty easily, but they're pretty spammable. Only two hands can be out onstage at a time.

'''Up Special:''' Holy Rapture: Neil floats upwards quickly as holy light shines on him. This recovery is somewhat slow, but it travels a lot of distance, and it has moderate control horizontally, but it excells in verticality. After the peak of the ascent, Neil goes into freefall.
'''Up Special:''' Rapture: Holy light envelops Neil, and it flips him over and sends him upwards and a little forwards. The ascension is slow, but the speed and amount he moves is immense. After a bit of floating up, it flings him, then sends him into freefall.

'''Down Special:''' Pray: Neil prays, gaining 1 Percent back per half second. Whilst praying, a small projectile barrier will form around Neil. Why? Because when Neil presses down, he kneels. So, that means Neil is kneeling, which is a Neil reference. Neil reference? That sounds like Neil Reverend if you ask me.
'''Down Special:''' Pray: Neil will put his cross and bible down which takes a lot of startup, and start praying to Jesus almighty. This causes him to be healed one % every second, which has no limit. Opponents will have to come over to Neil and attack him to make him stop healing. When the attack is ended, Neil will have to get up, which also takes a ton of endlag.

== Input Commands ==
== Input Commands ==

'''Input Command 1:''' If Neil does the input string "🡣, 🡣, 🡦, 🡢, S", he'll overhand a projectile similar to Holy Balls, but it's smaller and wobbles somewhat whilst moving forwards slowly. This ball will not do damage upon contact, but will circle around the opponent. After about ten seconds, it'll go into them, finally damaging them. An opponent can have up to 3 circling them at a time.
'''Input Command 1:''' Matthew 21:12-17: If Neil does the input string "🡣, 🡦, 🡢, S" he'll spawn a table made of holy light, and proceed to flip it. The table doesn't go very far, and there's a good chunk of startup. In return, the table is very powerful and can kill at even middling percents.

'''Input Command 2:''' "🡡, 🡡, 🡥, 🡢, S", he'll underhand a projectile similar to Holy Balls, but it will circle himself. These can block attacks and hit any opponents getting too close, but will disappear on contact. After about ten seconds, said projectile will disappear from Neil. Neil can have up to 3 circling himself at a time.
'''Input Command 2:''' John 11:43–44: If Neil does the input string "🡡, 🡣, 🡣, S", Neil will slam his foot down as it envelops with holy light. If he's airborne, it doesn't do anything but stagger Neil. If he's grounded, he'll stomp his foot, causing a zombie hand to burst out of the ground in front of him. If held, the zombie hand will appear farther away. The zombie hand, regardless of charge, launches straight up and boasts decent knockback scaling.
